Digital Experience Design Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on design leader to define and deliver the future of Booz Allen's digital experiences. This role combines digital experiencestrategy, strong visual and interface design, and UX fundamentals with ownership of the web channel as a primary platform for audience engagement, brand storytelling, and lead generation.

The Digital ExperienceDesign Senior Manager will set the vision for modern, engaging digital experiences, with a primary focus on the website and its role across broader marketing and sales journeys. This individual will lead a multidisciplinary design team, establish experiencestandards and design systems, and partner with brand and creative teams to translate content and creative assets into compelling, intuitive digital experiences.

This is a player-coach role: you will lead through strategy and influence while remaining close to the work-developing experienceconcepts, providing hands-on design direction, and stepping into design work when needed. You will partner closely with marketing, creative, content, production, analytics, and technology teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact digital experiences. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You'll Work On:

• Define and evolve the digital experiencevision across web and adjacent channels, translating business, audience, and brand goals into clear experiencestrategies and roadmaps.

• Set the experienceand interface design direction for Booz Allen's digital presence, creating modern, engaging experiences that combine strong visual storytelling with intuitive UX.

• Lead the design of marketing pages, thought leadership, and othercontent-rich experiences using layout, typography, imagery, interaction, and motion to elevate audience engagement.

• Partner with brand and creative teams to translate brand standards, campaigns, content, and creative assets into cohesive and effective digital experiences.

• Provide hands-on design direction and feedback, raising the quality of concepts and finished experiences while encouraging designers to explore new approaches and push beyond established patterns when appropriate.

• Own the web experiencestrategy, including site architecture, navigation, content models, experiencepatterns, and continuous optimization to improve engagement and performance.

• Apply strong UX principles, including information architecture, interaction design, responsive design, usability, and accessibility, to ensure experiences are both compelling and intuitive.

• Establish and evolve an enterprise design system and UI pattern library that enables consistency and scalability while supporting flexibility and innovation.

• Use audience insights, analytics, experimentation, and research to inform design decisions, define experiencemetrics and KPIs, and continuously optimize digital experiences.

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary experiencedesign team and serve as a strategic advisor to marketing and business stakeholders, setting a high bar for design quality, collaboration, and execution.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experiencein digital experiencedesign, web design, visual or interface design, or UX design, including leadership responsibility

• Experiencedesigning polished, modern, content-rich digital experiences for major brands, organizations, or marketing properties at large scale, built on enterprise content management systems

• Experiencewith visual and interface design skills, including typography, layout, composition, responsive design, interaction, and the effective integration of imagery, video, and motion

• Experience with UX fundamentals, including information architecture, interaction design, usability, accessibility, and user-centered design principles

• Experiencetranslating brand systems, content, and creative assets into effective digital interfaces and experiences

• Experiencedefining, implementing, and evolving digital design systems and UI pattern libraries

• Experienceleading design teams and delivering digital experiences at enterprise scale, including providing design direction and critique while remaining comfortable contributing directly to design work

• Knowledge ofanalytics, A/B testing, performance optimization, digital channel metrics, and experiencemeasurement

• Ability topresent a portfolio of visually compelling digital experiences, including marketing websites, content experiences, or otherbrand-led web work demonstrating strong visual and interface design judgment, UX fundamentals, and high-quality execution

• Bachelor's degree

• Experiencewith email marketing and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud

• Experiencewith enterprise CMS platforms such as AEM or Contentful

• Experiencedesigning experiences within component-based or modular web platforms

• Knowledge ofdata ecosystems, including customer data platforms and data lakes

• Knowledge ofaccessibility standards, including WCAG
