You'll evaluate emerging tools and techniques, recommend system improvements, and ensure your solutions account for the broader architecture, operating environment, and long-term scalability. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- 6+ years of experience with Java, including Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, or RESTful web services
- 3+ years of experience with a modern JavaScript framework, such as React.js, Vue, and Angular.js, including responsive, accessible UI development
- Experience using an AI-IDE like Claude Code or Cursor
- Experience with database design, including writing and optimizing SQL such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Experience working with legacy Java technologies, such as J2EE, JSP, or Servlets, and developing migration strategies to modern frameworks
- Experience providing production support and issue resolution
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure, and DevOps tools and practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or JavaScript testing libraries
- Experience with stored procedures and advanced database performance tuning
- Experience working with federal health agencies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
