Mechanical Engineer, Mid

The Opportunity:

Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experiencewith mechanical engineering
• Experiencewith CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor
• Experiencewith manufacturing, systems engineering, or product lifecycle management processes
• Experiencewith engineering testing, data analysis, and technical reporting
• Knowledge ofmechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge ofconfiguration management and engineering change processes
• Ability tointerpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degreein Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith engineering analysis tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, or similarplatforms
• Experiencewith the decomposition of system-level requirements into subsystem and component-level requirements
• Experiencewith the development and maintenance of engineering artifacts, technical baselines, and digital engineering products
• Ability toassist with verification planning and traceability activities
