Milestone Decision Authority Coordinator
The Opportunity:
Assist a government program manager in authoring, reviewing, staffing, and gaining approval of Army program Milestone Decision and Materiel Release documentation for all levels of Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs. Support clients in the analysis and improvement of acquisition processes, policies, and procedures. Devise innovative strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation. Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving acquisition and program planning, control, and execution.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with programs executing under Major Capability Acquisition, Middle Tier Acquisition, or Urgent Capability Acquisition pathways
- 1+ years of experience in the identification, retrieval, review, interpretation, and implementation of statues, regulations, or standard operating procedures in a military, DoW civilian, or commercial environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment to meet objectives
- Experience with Department of War Instruction (DoWI) 5000.02, Army Regulation 70-1, Army Regulation 770-3, and U.S. Code Title 10 compliance
- Experience with Milestone Decision and Materiel Release documentation for Army acquisition programs
- Experience with Microsoft Office and web-based collaborative environments such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel, or PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to manage documentation review processes, including tracking and resolving comments, risks, and discrepancies
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED

- Experience developing training programs and documents
- Experience developing Business Case Analyses for acquisition programs
- Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software and Microsoft Visio
- Bachelor's degree
- Project Management Professional or acquisition certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
