Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)on our team, you’ll help clients developmore robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible.

You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to further your skillsin aviation systems while continuing to grow your SRE experience. You Have:

• 6+ years of experienceworking in a professional information technology (IT)environment
• 2+ years of experienceprovisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• 2+ years of experiencewith monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Loki, Alloy, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, or Kibana and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experienceas a site reliability engineer in an enterprise environment and supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
• Experiencewith Infrastructure as Code (IAC)environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI/CD
• Experiencewith automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, automating system configurations, and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, including scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
• Experiencewith managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab or GitHub
• Experiencewith documenting an as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
• Ability toobtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experiencewith cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, patching, boundary defense, auditing, or authentication
• Experienceidentifying and implementing automation to improve user experience(UX)
• Experiencescripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
• Experiencewith open technologies, DevOps, and IaC tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gitlab, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, and Git
• Experiencewith cloud native container orchestration technologies, including EKS
• Experiencewith system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
• Experienceleveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
• Experiencewith DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Experiencewith building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
• AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or Certified DevOps Professional Certification
