This role is more than just coding. As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the currentarchitecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experiencedesigning, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
- 4+ years of experiencedesigning, optimizing, and maintaining NoSQL databases
- Experiencewith Python coding
- Experiencewith end-to-end design, scoping, and implementation of AWS-based tools
- Experiencewith API development
- Experiencein EO/IR image processing, data exploitation, or analysis algorithm development
- Experiencecreating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degreeand 4+ years of experiencein software engineering, or Master's degreeand 2+ years of experiencein software engineering
Nice If You Have:
- Experiencewith container technology, including Docker or podman
- Experiencewith Python coding for AI/ML solutions such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experienceworking with Agentic workflows and LLMs, such as Claude or GPT
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
