Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experiencein network design and architecture, information assurance, group policyand account management, virtualization, installation and configuration of applications, system administration and updates, and automation to lead a team of engineers focusing on network modernization on an inherited, legacy infrastructure. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues on a training environment and analyze currentworking infrastructures to understand how to make improvements and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge ofindustry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experiencein systems engineering
• Experiencemanaging complex projects from initiation to completion, while coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Experiencewith mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
• Experiencein Windows Server or Linux operating systems
• Ability tolead the design, architecture, and implementation of critical enterprise IT infrastructure, including server, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments
• Ability todevelop and maintain strategic roadmaps for systems technology evolution
• Ability toassist with establishing and enforcing system configuration, change management, and security policiesacross the server landscape
• Ability totravel up to 25% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experienceworking in the special operationscommunity
• Experiencearchitecting and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR)solutions to ensure maximum system uptime and business continuity
• Experiencedriving automation initiatives across system deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
• Experienceperforming capacity planning and performance monitoring to proactively address potential bottlenecks and recommend appropriate scaling solutions
• Experienceconducting root cause analysis (RCA)for major incidents, and implementing corrective and preventive measures to minimize future disruptions
• Experiencewith expert-level administration and troubleshooting of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Knowledge ofenterprise storage and backup solutions such as SAN, NAS, object storage, Veeam, and Commvault
• Knowledge ofActive Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems
