This role is more than just coding. As a Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the currentarchitecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of new software applications modernized for deployment in Cloud environments.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experiencedesigning, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods in Java or JavaScript

• Experiencewith Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, and software products

• Experiencewriting source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications

• Experienceusing back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions

• Experiencecreating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team

• Experiencewriting scripts and code to automate and record the results of tests of integration and interoperability between services

• Knowledge ofthe development of test plans and verifying and validating the results of unit tests conducted by other development teams

• Top Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GEDand 5+ years of experiencein software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, Bachelor’s degreeand 3+ years of experiencein software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, or Master’s degreeand 1+ years of experiencein software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks

Nice If You Have:

• Experienceacquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

• Experiencewith Red Hat, Windows Server, Oracle, JMeter, Jenkins, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub, GitLab, or equivalentsoftware packages

• Experiencewith programming and scripting languages such as Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, or SQL

• Experiencewith C2S and data centeroperations

• Experiencewith Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Knowledge ofsoftware accreditation and security procedures

• Ability towork with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:
