This posting is for an existing and currently open position.\nGeneral Description\nTo ensure that appropriate organizational structures and personnel management processes are established and maintained; that personnel have clearly defined roles and responsibilities; that they possess the necessary knowledge, experience, skills, and behaviours to perform their roles effectively; and that they receive appropriate training to ensure product quality and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nManages production of assigned products to meet compliance, customer service, cost, and EHS requirements:\nOversees batch execution for portfolio from order to delivery.\nManages changes to assigned portfolio, including introduction and changes to products, processes, and equipment.\nManagement of overall issues impacting area.\nProvides leadership for portfolio.\nManages departmental KPls including Capacity Review, Schedule adherence, PCM, Visual Factory and business risk activities.\nOversees compliance of area including:\nPrimary audit contact for area and supports regulatory audits and implementation of related corrective actions.\nApproves Quality documents (SOPs, PPRs, IQ/OQ/PQs, Line Trial documents and PBRs).\nLeads and supports major CAPA investigations and related corrective actions.\nLead and represent Production on Change Control Committees, Site Quality Council and quarterly trending meetings.\nManages production and support services resources to meet requirements:\nLeads, coaches and mentors team, managing \"my plan\" people management process and career development.\nLeads staff to optimize operational effectiveness.\nCoordinates resources from support services (e.g., Engineering).\nEnsures and maintain compliance of Environmental Health and Safety standards.\nManages, supports, and implements overall improvement programs for the area including OE initiatives (SMED, Standard Work, 6S, Changeover reduction, supporting lean culture, OEE):\nManages visual factory for area.\nShares and learns best practices across areas and externally.\nResponsible to implement simple to complex projects (locally and globally driven).\nLeads (when required) Site Impact Assessment for new business opportunities as well as Product Transfers.\nLeads and implements change management initiatives.\nProvides leadership and support to new Product Launches and New Process Equipment introduction.\nExperience and Skills\n3- 5 years of working experience in a Pharmaceutical Production environment.\nGood knowledge of manufacturing and packaging processes.\nGMP, Health, Safety and Environment legislative requirements (FDA, Health Canada, Ontario Health & Safety).\nDemonstrated talent for managing and collaborating with others through people management experience.\nThe role requires demonstrated talent for managing and collaborating with other fostering one team mentality through project team leadership and people management experience.\nExcellent communication and relationship management skills.\nAbility to make sound decisions in an ambiguous environment.\nDemonstrated strategic thinking skills.\nStrong Project Management skills\nAbility to use and understand automation solutions such as IP21, eBRS, CDISY, Freeweigh, etc.\nEducation\nRequired\nCollege Diploma.\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree from a recognized university.\nWorking Conditions\nThis is a 100% onsite position.\nAdditional Information\nIn accordance with Ontario’s pay transparency requirements, candidates will be notified when they are no longer under consideration or once the vacancy is closed.
