This job posting reflects a current vacancy within the organization. The position is active, approved, and intended to be filled as part of our staffing needs. This posting is for an existing and currently open position.\nGeneral Description\nTo perform proper equipment set-up, operation and in-process check, line clearance and change-over to ensure reliable and quality product is packed consistently.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperation and set up of production equipment and area modifications according to GMP, safety and quality standards.\nPerform all packaging/process activities.\nOperate, maintain, and adjust process equipment according to established procedures.\nLead the mechanical changeover of equipment according to established procedures.\nParticipate in the preparation and completion of all documentation applicable to production.\nSupport preventative and predictive maintenance programs.\nClean equipment, room, and general areas for production use.\nWrite and/or revise SOPs for new equipment and/or processes.\nTrain other team members.\nPerform related computer tasks (Eg. SAP, FreeWeigh etc.)\nParticipate in internal and external quality audits.\nParticipate in quality and customer complaint investigations.\nLead in process improvement initiatives.\nParticipate in process improvements.\nTrouble-shoot equipment and process related issues.\nSupport in other production areas as required. \nExperience and Skills\n0-1 years of production experience\nGood knowledge of packaging production equipment and understanding of packaging processes.\nProven Technical Competency.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nSelf-managed team player, experienced in working with teams in a production environment.\nHighly motivated, conscientious, innovative, and creative.\nComputer skills i.e., Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nAbility to use and understand automation solutions such as IP21, eBRS, CDISY, Freeweigh, etc.\nEducation\nRequired: High School Diploma\nWorking Conditions\nAble to lift up to 50lb.\nFlexibility to support shift work based on business requirements.\nRotating shifts including days, afternoons, and nights on a weekly rotation schedule.\nAdditional Information\nIn accordance with Ontario’s pay transparency requirements, candidates will be notified when they are no longer under consideration or once the vacancy is closed.
