The engineer will ensure that the software delivers required features, with a focus on COP (Coefficient of Performance), NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), and robust reliability.Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities\nDeep understanding of PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) control methods, with experience in IPMSM preferred.\nDefine internal software requirements and complete module design for eCompressor and Heater.\nImplement and integrate algorithms for related projects (eCompressor, Heater) based on MATLAB modules.\n Develop key algorithms such as eCompressor torque compensation, harmonic injection, and zero-speed current closed-loop startup.\nSupport eMotor/Heater parameter mapping tests and perform system calibration.\nSupport product FCT/EOL (Final Circuit Test/End of Line) specifications in collaboration with system and hardware teams.\nStrictly comply with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) rules and behavioral guidelines in the plant.\nRequirements / Qualifications\nProficient in sensor less FOC (Field-Oriented Control) algorithms, with experience in Flux or SMO (Sliding Mode Observer) preferred (at least one required).\nFamiliarity and experience with Major IC DSP development; experience with NXP S32K.\nKnowledge of BLDC/PMSM is Required\nMinimum 3 years of experience in eCompressor SW control.\nKnowledge of MBD (Model-Based Design) is a plus.\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.\nGood English skill, both spoken and written, for daily business communication.\n-Internal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy Statement\nCarefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
