# Financial Analyst

Job Purpose The Accounting Analyst supports accurate and timely financial processes and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate takes initiative, challenges the status quo, and develops solutions to complex problems in a team environment. Reporting to the Accounting Manager at BorgWarner’s corporate headquarters, the Accounting Analyst will work across the global organization and gain exposure to a broad range of accounting activities and business processes. The role also provides visibility to executive leadership and opportunities to strengthen accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Accounts Payable and General Ledger processes, analyze performance trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement. Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including account analysis, variance investigation, and timely resolution of identified issues. Prepare recurring and ad hoc journal entries, including accruals, and other general ledger adjustments. Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and collaborate with trading partners to resolve out-of-balance it
