POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for process control according to the company's key metrics, development and selection of machinery suppliers, facilities and new project start-ups, continuous improvement, implementation of BorgWarner's Production System, production cost reduction projects, personnel development and training. Plans, organizes and directs maintenance, manufacturing, quality and production engineering to meet the company's objectives. It is responsible for general management, coordination, evaluation and continuous improvement of production. Develops and executes world-class manufacturing strategies to achieve operational excellence. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and orienting activity, evaluating performance, rewarding employees and discipline, addressing grievances and resolving problems.
