Start your future with BorgWarner now!\nJob purpose\nThis position is responsible for coordinate the relationship between customer, product ordering, production inventory and planning to ensure that the relationship is balanced across functions and to ensure fulfuillment of customer needs within an assigned area of responsibility with a team of assigned MRP Controllers.\nLocation\nViana do Castelo Turbos & Thermal Technologies plant, Portugal\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWithin an assigned product area, coordinate and lead the team of MRP Controllers; \nAct as MRP Controller in situations that may require a new level of decision or first-level escalation, either within the department or the organization, or with third partied (customers, sellers, freight forwarders, ...); \nTake a proactive role in setting goals and working with the team to ensure they are achieved. \nCoordinate as the first level within the two products area the targets of inventory, sales forecast, fulfillment of deliveries from customers and suppliers; \nFollow up and staggered reporting of the situation of deliveries, production and supply of the production lines in the area of responsibility;· Position oriented towards coordination with the problem solving team; · Ensure all logistical requirements are met (EDI, Forms, web page. scorecard indexes); \nCoordinate and streamline the flow of materials between areas or departments; \nOrganize materials and inventory planning to achieve production goals and work on process goals; \nControl stock/optimize within the area of responsibility; \nThe position may additionally require the logistical management of production lines, in which case the tasks and responsibilities of the MRP Controller job description will apply; \nPromote efficient and open communication within the department and with other departments in the organization.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor's degree in related area,\n+3 years of experience in area related with logistics\nExperience in team management\nKnowledge in SAPKnowledge in automotive standards and customers requirements\nGood communication, presentation and negotiation skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Word Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.\nGood English language skills (spoken and written).\nProficiency level Portuguese (spoken and written).\nCompetencies:\nAction-Oriented\nCustomer Focus\nFunctional-Technical Skills\nInnovation Management\nProblem Solving\nProcess Management\nDrive for Results\nLearning on the Fly\nBuilding Effective Teams\n-Internal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy Statement\nCarefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
