Ensures financial information in the commercial quotation processes to ensure the sustainability of the business in the short, medium, and long term.\nLocation\nViana do Castelo plant I, Portugal\nKey Roles & Responsibilities:\nEvaluate, update, and manage cost systems.\n\nThrough financial data and cost reporting per production line, work with Product Line Managers to achieve the desired financial performance, including participation in resource optimization programs.\n\nEnsure that all financial reporting platforms provideaccurate,timely, and meaningful data to support management decision-making.\n\nPrepare business case for future projects.\n\nWork with the commercial teamtodevelop responses that ensure the growth and sustainability of the business in the long term.\n\nTimely report on business trends affecting business performance, including Income Statements, Balancesheets, cash flow,and other financial reports.\n\nAct as a liaison between the financial department,purchasing,logistics, commercial,and Manufacturing in financial reporting processes.\n\nSupport in the maintenance of the existing internal control system (SOX), as well as procedures related to cost and inventory systems.\n\nResponsible for building reports to supportdecision-makingand investment in production lines.\n\nCollaborate directly with other departments.\n\nBe an integral member of the energy management team and ensure that the EMSremainsadequate and meets the requirements.\n\nComplywiththe organization's rules and internal regulations, namely theCode of Ethics, environmental, energy efficiency, health, and safety at work, quality, and productivity norms and standards.\n\nPerform other tasks not included in this job description, when needs or convenience of service justify it, for the time necessary for such needs or conveniences of service.\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\nBachelor's orMaster's degree in Economics, Management, or related fields.\n\nMBA (valued).\n\nMinimum of3years ofrelatedbusiness experience, preferably in the automotive industry.\n\nExperiencein the automotive industry or related areas preferred.\n\nMust have intermediate to advanced-level software skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nKnowledge of cost accounting, budgeting and strategic planning, cost estimation, USGAAP, and internal controlsvalued.\n\nExperiencein SAP.\n\nFluentin Portugueseand English(spoken and written).\n\n-Internal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy Statement\nCarefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
