The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.\nReporting to Program Manager, responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing a comprehensive project management regimen that meets customer expectations. Reporting to Manager, Program Management, support continuous improvement of existing Program Management processes/tools for Arden, NC.\nKey Responsibilities\nWorking with Manager, Program Management, evaluates and executes continuous improvement of existing Program Management processes and tools.\nProvides project management for customer programs, focusing on (1) the assertive oversight of product launches, (2) vigilant cost containment, avoidance, and reduction throughout a product’s life cycle, (3) a comprehensive communications effort\nWorks at all levels of the organization to build a case for the program and gain the commitment of the department heads allowing the allocation of the necessary resources\nInteracts with customer teams to help develop and lead programs aimed at satisfying customer demands\nServes as program owner, accountable for the execution and success of the program\nLeads the program team to achieve the financial results the program was approved on\nDevelops programs from inception through completion of Quality Gate 6\nLeads customer program teams through established BW PM process. This would include but not be limited to strategic programs involving planning and defining objectives, product design and development, process design and development, product and process validation, and initial production performance\nDrives the APQP process to meet cost, timing, and delivery objectives in a TS16949 environment\nEnsures internal and external required documentation is delivered on time\nCreates and manages program timelines to meet critical milestones\nManages financial outcomes of the programs\nMaintains program charter, timing plan, and gate review metrics and documentation\nEnsures customer team members are trained on BW PM process when needed\nEstablishes and maintains communications with both customer personnel and senior management\nEffectively presents high-level information to senior management and customers\nEnsures that common inquires or complaints from customers and internal personnel are handled in a timely manner\nDevelops relationships with customers that make the product launches an experience that contributes to awarding new business in the future\nRecognizes, identifies, and drives changes/improvements to BW PM process.\nLeads program team to meet APQP requirements and deadlines.\nUnderstands financial reports and engineering documents/data\nUnderstands and adheres to current quality and control policies\nUnderstands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies\nCommunicates and enforces safe work procedures\nIdentifies and closes safety issues (suggestions, inspection, and investigation findings) and their corrective actions.\nPerforms other duties as requested, directed, or assigned\nWhat we are looking for\nIn progress to Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline\nExperience working in cross/multi-functional teams preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) required\nDemonstrated team leadership experience preferred\nTechnical competence, problem solving, organization, and communication skills required\nFamiliarity with turbochargers and/or engines is preferred\nSolid understanding of engineering and manufacturing functions within the automotive supplier market segment preferred\nWhat we offer\nAll positions start at an above market pay rate for that position.
