The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.\nThe Quality Engineering Intern will receive hands-on experience in a leading automotive manufacturing environment and opportunities to contribute to meaningful quality improvement projects. They will be given the opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and project management skills with exposure to real-world quality systems and cross-functional teamwork.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelopment of and/or continuous improvement of support processes within the Quality and Warranty functions\n\nDevelopment of process documentation within the Quality and Warranty functions\n\nLeading or assisting with statistical or Red X studies\n\nIntegrating new quality tools, including data entry and/or data review\n\nParticipating in 8D or problem solving activities\n\nParticipating in customer or supplier meetings and visits\n\nWhat we are looking for\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality, or a related field\n\nStrong self-learning ability and willingness to explore new tools, systems, and processes\n\nIntermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts, data cleaning)\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\n\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities\n\nDetail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience with document control systems or quality management software\n\nFamiliarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) is a plus\n\nBasic understanding of Lean or Six Sigma tools\n\nWhat we offer\nAll positions start at an above market pay rate for that position.
