Start your future with BorgWarner now!\nJob purpose\nThe Production Supervisor is responsible for effectively supervising employees in a designated area of manufacturing to ensure a safe work environment, meet production deadlines, and attain established goals in the areas of production quality, delivery, and cost.\nKey accountabilities\nAbove all, ensure a safe work environment.\nSupport and drive the lean manufacturing system; assign work; and recommend and implement improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, employee relations, and working conditions.\nOversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.\nResolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations, and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.\nResponsible for area performance measures and individual employee work performance; provide coaching and direction to employees; and work with the manufacturing manager to identify development and/or training needs for employees.\nResponsible for communication at all levels.\nSalary\nSalary ranges from $70,400 - $105,600 based on experience\nComprehensive medical, dental, life vision, disability and long-term disability options available\n401K with Company match\nOnsite Health and Wellness clinic and programs\nEducational Reimbursement\nBonus Program\nWhat we are looking for\n3 + years’ experience in a manufacturing related position required.\nSupervisory experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; experience in the automotive industry preferred.\nWillingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift\nStrong technical skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing processes/procedures required\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.\nFamiliarity with proven safety programs or quality programs (i.e. Kaizen) a plus.\nKnowledge of measuring devices i.e. micrometers, height stands, calipers.\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nAction Oriented\nConflict Management\nTimely Decision Making\nMotivating Others\nInforming\nEthics and Values\nWhat we believe\nInclusion -We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences. \nIntegrity - We believe in transparency, authenticity, and depend on each other to deliver what we promise. \nExcellence - We contribute to our developments by seeking knowledge and sharing information. \nResponsibility - We care about our local communities and the global environment. \nCollaboration - We are one BorgWarner.\nVisa language\nBorgWarner does provide sponsorship for employment visa status based on business need.
