Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nStandard Duties:\nSubmit lab work orders of supplied components to be measured in lab and processed in a timely manner.\nUtilize SAP to submit purchase requisitions & to confirm inventories.\nOpen new sort projects and aid in creation of work instructions of sorts.\nPrioritize necessary sorts to support delivery of components to machining/assembly line.\nPerform and sustain 5S activities required for maintaining a World Class Metrology Lab\nUnderstand and adhere to current health, safety and environmental policies\nUnderstand and adhere to current quality and control policies.\nUse handheld gages (le. micrometers, calipers, etc.)\nOwnership of part gathering, RMA creation, packaging, and shipping components to suppliers\nAll other Clerical, minimal technical, and assistant type duties.\nSafety, Health and Physical Requirements:\nMay require lifting in excess of 40 pounds during a scheduled shift.\nMay require pushing or pulling of manual pallet jacks or hand carts containing full baskets of parts.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and hazardous chemicals.\nAll employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures\nMust be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays\nMust be able to working a non-climate-controlled environment with moderate to high noise volume occasionally\nPunctual attendance to work is required\nMay require occasional work from heights.\nAbility to distinguish color and depth perception are required\nGood hand dexterity, hearing, and vision are considered essential.\nAscending/descending steps; walking long distances over the course of shift\nEducation: High school diploma/GED required.
