Start your future with BorgWarner now!\nJob purpose\nBorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join the Global Supply Management Systems and Tools team. The team is part of the Procurement Excellence organization and supports systems, data analytics, and automation initiatives that optimize procurement processes, drive value, improve efficiency, and reduce risk. This role offers hands-on experience supporting the implementation of the new Supplier Performance Management System (SPMS) and ongoing Advanced Commodity Management Engine (ACME) initiatives. Working with Global Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, IT, the intern will help analyze data, document processes and requirements, test new capabilities, and improve reporting and user support. The position provides an opportunity to apply analytical and digital skills to real projects that improve supplier data quality, reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and user experience.\nKey responsibilities\nSupport SPMS project activities, including current-state analysis, requirements documentation, data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue tracking, and preparation of training or change management materials. \nAssist with ACME data and reporting activities, including supplier and customer contract information, index-management support, report validation, and reconciliation of outputs with source data. \nCollect, clean, compare, and analyze supply chain data from Excel, Power BI, SAP, SPS, Ivalua, and related sources to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities. \nSupport supplier master-data and performance processes, including supplier onboarding, profile maintenance, commodity-code alignment, receipt and delivery-data checks, supplier scorecards, and reporting exceptions. \nCreate and maintain process maps, work instructions, checklists, training documents, status trackers, meeting notes, and project updates. \nHelp test system enhancements and reports, document results, follow up on defects or open items, and support coordination with business users and IT teams. \nExplore appropriate uses of AI and Microsoft Copilot to improve data analysis, documentation, knowledge sharing, and routine process efficiency. \nPrepare and present project updates, findings, and recommendations to the Systems and Tools team and other stakeholders. \nWhat we’re looking for\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics or a related field. \nWorking knowledge of supply chain concepts and an interest in supplier management, process improvement, systems, data, and reporting. \nMicrosoft Excel knowledge is required, including intermediate skills with formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, charts, data cleaning, and comparison of data sets. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to organize information accurately. \nStrong self-learning ability and willingness to explore new tools, systems, processes, and business requirements. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a global, cross functional team. \nAbility to manage multiple assignments, follow through on action items, and work both independently and with guidance. \nPower BI experience is preferred. \nKnowledge of AI tools and Microsoft Copilot, including responsible use for analysis, documentation, or productivity, is preferred.  Exposure to SAP, procurement or supplier-management systems, Power Query, or process mapping is a plus.\nWhat we believe\nInclusion-We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences.\nIntegrity- We believe in transparency, authenticity, and depend on each other to deliver what we promise. \nExcellence- We contribute to our developments by seeking knowledge and sharing information. \nResponsibility- We care about our local communities and the global environment. \nCollaboration- We are one BorgWarner.\nSafety\nThis position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires.
