If your qualifications align with the majority of those outlined in this job description, we encourage you to apply and share your experience and skills with us.\nJob Purpose\nBorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Systems Test Automation Engineering Intern in our Summer Internship Program.\nThe Systems Test Automation Engineering Intern will support the development and execution of advanced system and software verification strategies, with a strong emphasis on automated testing frameworks, high-voltage integration, and complex automotive communication protocols.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in developing and executing automated test solutions across various test environments, including Electrical Bench, Power HIL, HV Integration, Dyno, and Motor Simulation\nSupport the creation and maintenance of test scripts using programming languages such as Python, C#, or similar technologies\nParticipate in regression and performance testing activities, helping to identify, document, and track issues using tools such as JIRA\nSupport test case development and help maintain traceability between requirements and test activities using tools such as Polarion\nAssist in creating and updating test documentation, including test specifications, procedures, and validation plans\nCollaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to support product testing and validation efforts\nGain hands-on experience with model-based testing and simulation tools, including MATLAB/Simulink and NI VeriStand\nContribute ideas for improving test automation processes, test efficiency, and engineering workflows\nPresent project updates and findings to team members and stakeholders throughout the internship\nWhat We Are Looking For\nCurrently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college; students pursuing Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred\nGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date\nExperience in Systems Testing, Automation Engineering, or Software Validation in the automotive or embedded systems domain preferred\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and system-level debugging\nExcellent communication and documentation skills\nDemonstrated ability to work in agile development environments\nWhat We Believe\nInclusion - We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences\nIntegrity - We believe in transparency, authenticity, and depend on each other to deliver what we promise\nExcellence - We contribute to our developments by seeking knowledge and sharing information\nResponsibility - We care about our local communities and the global environment\nCollaboration - We are one BorgWarner\nVisa Sponsorship\nBorgWarner does provide sponsorship for employment visa status based on business need.
