Confidential information should only be shared with authorized individuals such as managers, supervisors, HR, or others as deemed necessary by management and in compliance with company policies and regulations.\nEnsure team compliance to safety and environmental rules and regulations.\nConduct team huddles to communicate safety talks and other pertinent information.\nEnsure team compliance to ISO45001/ISO9001/TS16949 guidelines\nPerform inventory management to assist with on-time delivery, communicate deviations as necessary.\nMentor, drive and support good manufacturing practices and 5S standards.\nCoordinate department priorities/delegate daily duties to team members.\nAssign team members accordingly per business needs.\nProfessionally and effectively communicate with team members, customers, support groups and management.\nServe as the process subject matter expert in their respective area(s).\nIdentify normal vs. abnormal conditions and take immediate appropriate action.\nLead problem solving activities for their areas of responsibility.\nProvide leadership and guidance to drive results and continuous improvement.\nWork with operators and maintenance technicians to assist in troubleshooting /problem solving activities.\nAssist the Quality Technician in performing quality and documentation requirements.\nAssist with the training and development of operators to ensure that the proper training metrics and documentation are completed.\nUse manual and battery-powered tools (i.e., crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits) according to work instructions.\nMaintain compliance with records retention standards related to scrap reporting, downtime tracking, and set-up sheets.\nEnsure timely and accurate production reporting.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nOvertime may be required.\nModerate lifting up to 35 lbs.\nAll employees are responsible for knowing, understanding, and complying with BorgWarner safety policies and procedures.\nRepetitive use of hands and wrist.\nThis position requires a moderate to high degree of standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling, close eye work, reaching, pulling, or pushing.\nRequires wearing electrical personal protective equipment\nAbility to operate and multi-task between 2 to 3 stations.\nAble to crouch, bend, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed in large and tight spaces.\nGood eye/hand coordination and ability to identify color and depth variations and small details visually.\nUp to 15% training related travel\nKey Competencies\nSafety\nJudgement/Decision Making\nCritical thinking/troubleshooting\nTeamwork/Interpersonal Skills\nAttendance\nAttention to detail and accuracy of work\nHigh sense of urgency\nSelf-starter\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or GED required; or basic skills assessment required\nAssociates degree preferred\nExperience:\n2+ years of leadership experience preferred.\n1+ year of manufacturing or related experience required.\nExperience in fast paced industrial lean environment preferred.\nExperience with troubleshooting machines/equipment preferred.\nComputer Skills:\n Intermediate level MS Office preferred.
