The Bank began operations in June 2010 after receiving a Unit Microfinance Banking License from the Central Bank of Nigeria, and in 2016 it was granted a State Microfinance Banking License.\n\nIts financial inclusion agenda centres on encouraging a savings culture, enabling access to credit for income-generating activities, and lowering exposure to risk through micro insurance.\n\nOur Strategic Approach\nThe Bank's core operational strategy is built on the group lending methodology, with a strong emphasis on serving women. Bosak believes in the dedication of women to hard work and their role in helping their families overcome poverty, which is why over 95% of its lending activity is directed at women. The effectiveness of its group lending model rests heavily on solidarity and cohesion within each group.\n\nThe results achieved through this lending programme have led to strategic partnerships with institutions such as the Bank of Industry (BOI) and the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), among others.\n\nBy combining modern technology, a committed Board of Directors and a motivated workforce, the Bank has built a brand that is well received by its numerous clients in Lagos. It is now broadening its reach through a scaling programme designed to deliver greater value to its stakeholders.\n\nJob Details\n\n Position: Area Manager\n\n Location: Ikorodu, Lagos\n\n Employment Type: Full-time\n\n Industry: Microfinance Banking\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Champion the introduction and promotion of Bosak MFB, the Bosak Trade Loan (BTL) and other offerings to prospective customers.\n\n Oversee and manage all Business Managers and Loan Officers assigned to the Area Office.\n\n Track business performance, deliver operational support and drive the attainment of business and loan portfolio targets.\n\n Build and maintain s","description_format":"text","description_chars":2049,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-31T15:28:11Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":9,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.4,"p_active":0.477,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":48,"expected_fill_days":25,"reasons":["seen:48","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-11-04T06:34:25Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/bosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/bosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-04T13:56:50Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":21084,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-05T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":4449205},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=4449205"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fbosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fbosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fbosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/bosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fbosak-microfinance-bank-area-manager"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3569976}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"bosakmfb.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3569976},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
