The role provides high-quality commercial and technical coordination across the Mobile Applications portfolio, including hydraulics, electronic controls, automation, electrification and digital solutions, while ensuring responsive, cost-effective customer support.\nMain Objectives and Responsibilities\nStrategy, market and performance\nMaintain expert knowledge of mobile hydraulics, electronic controls, electrification, automation, telematics and digital services.\nMonitor customers, competitors, legislation, sustainability requirements and trends across key mobile machinery sectors within the assigned area; share actionable market intelligence.\nAnalyse territory performance, customer needs, installed base and market potential to prioritise target sectors, accounts and opportunities.\nBusiness planning and growth\nDevelop and execute an area business plan aligned with the UK and Ireland Mobile Applications sales strategy, delivering agreed order intake, revenue, profitability and market-share targets.\nCreate acquisition plans and account development strategies for target OEMs, distributors, systems integrators and strategic partners.\nMaintain accurate forecasts, opportunity pipelines and account plans, and coordinate internal resources to progress customer projects efficiently.\nCustomer and stakeholder management\nBuild trusted relationships with decision-makers, engineering teams and procurement stakeholders throughout the assigned area.\nCoordinate sales, application engineering, product management, service, operations and manufacturing resources to deliver agreed customer outcomes.\nRepresent customer and market requirements internally and maintain effective relationships with regional units, plants, suppliers and professional bodies.\nSales and commercial execution\nDeliver disciplined customer coverage across the assigned area, including prospecting, visit planning, opportunity management and timely, high-quality CRM reporting.\nDevelop senior relationships with key customers and partners and conduct commercial negotiations within delegated authority, governance and margin requirements.\nManage RFQs and projects from opportunity identification through quotation, development and series production, coordinating competitive technical and commercial solutions.\nPromote the full Mobile Applications portfolio through solution-based selling, cross-selling and value propositions tailored to customer applications.\nResolve customer enquiries and commercial issues, manage risks and overdue debt, and support trade fairs, product launches and regular business reporting.\n HNC/HND, degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, electronic, mechatronic, automotive engineering or a related discipline.\nProven experience in technical sales, business development or account management, with evidence of winning new business and delivering profitable growth.\nStrong knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems, electronic controls, automation and electrification, with the ability to develop value-led customer solutions.\nExperience of territory and strategic account planning, complex quotations, commercial negotiations and contract review.\nProficient with CRM, SAP or equivalent systems and Microsoft Office; excellent communication, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.\nWilling and able to travel regularly across the assigned area and wider UK and Ireland, with occasional European travel.\nGeographical & Sales Coverage\nAssigned territory/customers within the United Kingdom and Ireland, with cross-area support as required.\n This role offers a hybrid working model, so flexibility can be offered to the successful candidate\nWhy Bosch Rexroth?\nA range of benefits are available including employee discounts, various sports and health opportunities, on-site parking\nWe offer a wide variety of interesting and challenging tasks.
