Your work will focus on the programming components associated with the installation, service, and maintenance of integrated low voltage systems.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience working with low voltage systems such as access control, CCTV, intrusion, networking infrastructure, and commercial audio-visual.\nRESPONSIBLITIES:\nPlan, design, and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems including mobile applications.\nAssess, test, troubleshoot, document, upgrade, and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments, and applications software.\nDevelopment of software and integrated information systems, process control software, and other embedded software control systems.\nWork with 3rd parties to integrate software and/or transfer information as required.\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and service issues related to the above infrastructure\nPlan and deliver software and OS upgrades\nDevelop and maintain Method Of Procedures for system upgrades and implementations\nWork directly with other Systems Analysts, Project Managers, Sales, and Engineering resources to help design IT infrastructure supporting Physical Security and Audio Video solutions\nSome travel requirements\nFlexible working schedule required\nOccasional on-call required\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATION:3-5 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology, with proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting complex systems\nExperience with Python and C# programming\nClear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical data and analysis to internal and external stakeholders\nSound organizational skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and priority-changing environment\nAbility to work independently or in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nComfortable with remote work and participating in remote teams\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nPrior experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion, and commercial audio-visual systems is strongly preferred. \nKnowledge of programmable logic controllers and networking\nProgressive experience in Information Technology, with proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting complex systems\nBilingual French/English is an asset.\nCreative and outside the box thinker\nSalary Range: $62,000.00 - $80,000.00Vacancy Status: This posting is for a current and existing vacancy\nPhysical Demands:\nIn general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
