The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently with complex financial data.\nAnalyze and track production costs, labor expenses, and overhead allocations to identify cost drivers and variances\nPrepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses, comparing actual costs against budgeted amounts and investigating significant deviations\nDevelop and maintain cost models and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning processes\nCollaborate with operations, procurement, and accounting teams to gather cost data and ensure accuracy of financial records\nMonitor inventory valuation and cost allocation methods to ensure compliance with accounting standards\nIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements, presenting recommendations to management\nMaintain and update cost accounting systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting\nAssist in the preparation of financial statements and cost-related disclosures\nSupport internal and external audits by providing detailed cost documentation and explanations\n 2-4 years of professional experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related accounting function\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling\nSolid understanding of cost accounting principles, methodologies, and best practices\nExperience with ERP systems and accounting software\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail\nAbility to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy\nProficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex financial information\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish\nFamiliarity with manufacturing or production cost analysis (preferred)\nExperience with process improvement initiatives or lean accounting methodologies (preferred)\nKnowledge of variance analysis and budget forecasting
