The role combines independent execution of standard and complex test activities, systematic defect analysis, test automation, technical coordination, and guidance for less experienced testers.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview software and system requirements, architecture, interface specifications, and other test bases for clarity, consistency, traceability, and testability.\nDefine and maintain test scope, test specifications, test cases and requirement-to-test traceability for assigned ADAS functions.\nConfigure and verify test environments independently, including ECU, harness, power supply, Vector interfaces, CANoe/vTESTstudio projects, measurements, and simulation components.\nPerform system test level on HIL/ SIL test environment to identify defects and ensure functional correctness.\nImplement and maintain automated test script to improve testing efficiency, coverage and repeatability using vTESTstudio, CAPL, Python, or C/C++ within existing project frameworks.\nUse project tools such as DOORS, RQM, T&R/Jira, Git, CANape, and Jenkins according to the defined workflow and quality gates.\nAssess test results, coverage, blockers, and technical risks; provide clear status and recommendations to the Test Coordinator and stakeholders.\nReview test artifacts, support junior testers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to reusable templates, scripts, and continuous process improvement.\n Knowledge and Skills Required\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in embedded software or automotive system testing, including hands-on Functionality verification.\nFluent English communication, written and spoken, for technical discussions and international collaboration.\nSoftware Testing & Process\nStrong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).\nDeep knowledge of test design techniques, test specification methods, and requirement-based testing.\nExperience with ASPICE SWE.4, SWE.5, SYS.4, and verification methodologies.\nSolid understanding of traceability management between requirements, test cases, and defects.\nAutomotive Software Knowledge\nStrong understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and software stack.\nUnderstanding of embedded software architecture, MCU concepts, memory management.\nStrong knowledge of Communication protocols.\nKnowledge of ISO-11898, ISO-14229, ISO-15765 and related automotive standards.\nAutomation & Tools\nStrong scripting skills in Python, CAPL, C/ C++.\nExperience developing automated test frameworks, test reporting tools.\nAdvanced experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape, vTeststudio), Vetor hardware, GIT, Jira or equivalent requirements management tools.\nProblem Solving\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience performing log analysis, trace analysis, defect isolation, and root cause investigation.\nAbility to independently lead complex technical investigations.\nCollaboration and Technical Leadership\nCommunicates technical facts clearly with developers, testers, coordinators, and international stakeholders.\nWorks independently while cooperating effectively across team and project boundaries.\nSupports junior members through reviews, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and structured technical guidance.\nDemonstrates quality awareness and balances scope, delivery timing, risks, and test value when making recommendations.\nNice to Have\nISTQB certification or equivalent formal software-testing qualification.\nSolid understanding of ADAS products.\nHands-on knowledge in at least one ADAS function domain, such as ACC/AEB, LANE, LIGHT, SIGN, corner radar, parking.\nExperience with Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP, Adaptive AUTOSAR, or continuous testing pipelines.\nHands-on experience with ADAS HiL/SiL platforms, CarMaker, ADTF, CLARA/CARLA, parking simulation, or vehicle testing.\nKnowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity concepts.\nExperience defining reusable test assets, coding guidelines, quality gates, or team-level automation improvements.\n Why BOSCH?\nBecause we do not just follow trends, we create them.
