Our team also contributes to Bosch smart home & IoT solutions through SW delivery to Home Appliance products.\nWe are looking for talented SoC1 Embedded SW Engineers (Linux, Android) in Central Computer, In-Vehicle Infotainment, ADAS and Driver Monitoring with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our development team.\nKey Responsible:\n Core Base Software Development: You will develop, integrate, and maintain low-level software for our Linux and Android Automotive OS (AAOS) platforms, focusing strictly on kernel-level components and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs). \n System Bring-Up & Bootloader: You will contribute to the development and adaptation of bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot) and perform initial board bring-up and hardware validation. \nPlatform Integration & Security: You will be responsible for integrating low-level software components, debugging kernel and driver issues, and helping to identify and mitigate software vulnerabilities close to the hardware. \nPerformance Analysis: You will participate in optimizing system performance, focusing on boot time and the efficiency of low-level resource management within the Linux kernel and AAOS. \nTeam Collaboration: You will work closely with senior developers and architects, actively participating in technical discussions centered on base software and contributing to a culture of quality. \n Personality: You are a motivated and accountable team player with a strong desire to learn and contribute to complex, hardware-close projects. \nWorking Style: You have an analytical and goal-oriented approach, with an eagerness to solve technical challenges both independently and as part of the team. \n Experience and Know-how:Professional experience in embedded C/C++ development for Linux, with knowledge of the kernel, its user-space API (UAPI), and filesystems. \nFamiliarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) low-level concepts (e.g., HALs, GKI, VTS) is a strong advantage. \nExperience with developing or integrating software within Linux Board Support Packages (BSPs), including peripheral driver configuration. \nFamiliarity with bootloader concepts and their role in hardware initialization. \nAn understanding of vulnerability management as it applies to base software. \nExperience with modern software development workflows, including version control (e.g., Git) and the basics of CI/CD pipelines. \nKnowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262) is an advantage. \n\nLanguage Skills: Very good English skills. \n Education: A completed degree in Computer
