The assignment comes with an attractive benefits package, and family accompaniment to Japan can be supported.\nYou will also have the opportunity to build specialized technical expertise in DNOX and exhaust aftertreatment systems while collaborating with Bosch platform and engineering teams in Europe.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAct as the first-level Technical Key Account (TKA) for assigned automotive component projects.\nServe as the main technical interface with Japanese OEM customers, handling technical questions, requirements, and clarifications.\nSupport the execution of customer projects for Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle applications, ensuring alignment with project requirements and milestones.\nSupport new project acquisition activities for Japanese OEM customers, particularly technical documentation and project-related inputs.\nCoordinate and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) for Passenger Car customer projects.\nTake ownership of relevant Quality Gate (QG) activities and support timely achievement of project milestones.\nInvestigate and support continuous improvement activities related to component and field quality issues.\nPrepare, maintain, and coordinate technical customer documentation according to project and customer requirements.\nSupport engineering activities such as technical drawings, experiments, and validation when required.\nDevelop strong technical expertise in DNOX products and systems through close collaboration with Bosch platform teams in Europe, particularly Hungary.\n Mandatory requirements\nBachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nApproximately 4-6 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in automotive, mechanical/product engineering, component development, or a related technical environment.\nStrong Japanese communication skills for direct interaction with Japanese customers; JLPT N2 or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency is preferred.\nGood English communication skills for collaboration with international engineering teams and overseas stakeholders.\nBasic knowledge of mechanical design, product engineering, automotive components, or product development.\nStrong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively across different cultures, functions, and locations.\nProactive learning mindset and willingness to develop specialized technical and product knowledge.\nWillingness to undertake a long-term onsite assignment at Bosch Japan for at least 2.5 years, starting by March 2027 or earlier.\n It'd be a strong advantage if you have:\nKnowledge or experience in DNOX, exhaust aftertreatment systems, or emission-control technologies.\nPrevious experience working with Japanese automotive OEMs.\nExperience in project coordination, customer-facing engineering, or Technical Key Account (TKA) responsibilities.\nExperience working in an international or cross-functional engineering environment.\n Why BOSCH?\nBecause we do not just follow trends, we create them.
