This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally. \n Machine Design (Factory Automation)\nDesign machines, mechanical systems, and automation equipment for factory automation projects.\nDevelop innovative mechanical concepts and transform them into practical design solutions.\nModify and optimize existing machine designs to meet customer requirements while ensuring quality, safety, and manufacturability.\nCreate detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.\nSelect standard components and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).\nCollaborate closely with Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing teams throughout the development process.\nSupport prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.\nMechanical Product Development\nAnalyze customer requirements and translate them into mechanical design specifications.\nDevelop mechanical products from concept through detailed design and release.\nCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and related technical documents.\nPerform design verification and support product validation activities.\nEnsure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing constraints.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.\n0-3 years of experience in mechanical design, machine design, product development, internship, or academic projects.\n Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).\nBasic understanding of:Machine design principles\nManufacturing and machining processes\nMaterial selection\nGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)\nEngineering drawings and BOM creation\n\nBasic knowledge of factory automation systems and mechanical components is an advantage.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication skills in English.\nWillingness to learn, self-motivated, and proactive.\nGood teamwork and attention to detail.\nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship, academic project, or practical experience related to machine design, product development, or factory automation.\nFamiliarity with standard mechanical components such as MISUMI, THK, SMC, HIWIN, Festo, or similar.\nKnowledge of mechanism simulation, motion analysis, DFM, DFA, or FMEA is a plus.\nExperience working with prototype assembly, testing, or troubleshooting is an advantage.\nAbility to communicate in Japanese or Chinese is a plus.\n Why BOSCH?\nBecause we do not just follow trends, we create them.
