This position will manage the team responsible for ensuring targets are met in regards to safety, quality, cost and delivery by reducing scrap, improving cycle time, and other process improvements. In this role, the incumbent will work hand in hand with Planning Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Logistics to ensure that we are meeting our targets.\nJob Description\nDirects engineering work for manufacturing engineers supporting the problem solving process for scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, and overall process improvements\nSupports continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality and productivity for assigned areas of responsibility\nResponsible for budget planning for line improvement activities, builds business cases and manages spending according to plan\nEnsure the equipment OEE, rejects/FTT, and IDC (scrap cost) are meeting the business targets\nSupport and ensure the operations team is able to meet their production targets\nCoordinates the engineering change process for the ER value stream in close collaboration with design engineering, quality engineering and logistics\nCreate, manage and maintain high performance culture within the engineering team\nParticipate and build international and national network within the company\n Requirements\nBachelors of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum 5 yrs. experience in a manufacturing or other relevant industry experience.\nExperience with assembly processes\nStrong management and leadership skills\nStrong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills\nAnalytical problem solver; experience with RedX methodology or other problem solving tools\n Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans\nIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
