Develop and revise standardized work, developing Team Leaders and staff to improve problem-solving skills. Perform a variety of specialized administrative/supervisory duties involving specialized and comprehensive records and files.\nAssign work to be performed, instruct associates, direct efforts and monitor progress and effectiveness of individual and group assignments.\nConduct performance reviews and recommend personnel actions for associates supervised.\nRecommend changes or improvements in established procedures to the departmental manager.\nCollect, Extract and interpret data from a variety of sources.\nSet up and prepare complex statistical reports.\nCreate and maintain databases, retrieve information and prepare reports and correspondence.\nCreate and execute database searches. Import and export data to other applications.\nCompile data in final format, and arrange report to meet job assignment.\nResearch source documents and prepare moderately complex reports, spreadsheets and databases using complex mathematical and logic formulas.\nCreate new or modify existing spreadsheets, establish relational references and formulas.\nEstablish layout, content and appropriate graphics.\nGenerate correspondence and memos, creating format to meet specific task. Create tables, columns and merge functions.\nPrepare business charts and format page layout. Create materials that include text, tables, charts, and graphics.\nMay act as contact for vendors for services performed, etc.\nCoaching and Mentoring - Develop Team Leaders in BPS principles such as Standardized Work, Problem Solving, Transparency, A3 Thinking, Deviation Tracking, learning via process experimentation\nAbility to create standardized work and dialog with hourly staff and Team Leaders on process standards, identifying deviations, to initiate problem solving via CIP activities.\nLead team efforts involving departmental projects and initiatives\nLead customer satisfaction.\nProvide guidance and check the work of others.\nSupervise large groups or projects.\nProvides and establishes decision making guidance.\nAccomplish tasks that are significantly complex and varied.\nPerform duties and is responsible at highest /supervisory non-exempt level.\nResolve discrepancies.\nAssist in development of others.\nPerform first line supervisory duties for staff.\n BS or BA degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering or equivalent applicable work experience\n3+ years job-specific experience\nDemonstrated supervisory experience\nThorough knowledge of department and company policies and procedures\nThorough knowledge of planning and legal issues associated with a leadership position\nStrong judgment in establishing work assignments in the area of responsibility and in the selection and interpretation of data\nAbility to delegate and motivate\nExcellent computer skills including spreadsheets, databases and word processing\nStrong mathematical and logical skills\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills in English\nPreferred experience with SAP ERP\n The above summary is consistent with the company's compensation philosophy and represents a fair description of the position, as supplied by the appropriate unit(s).
