obsolescence management, redesigns, and cost optimization initiatives.\nBring up and validate prototype hardware, proof-of-concept designs, and engineering mockups.\nInvestigate field failures and perform root cause analysis to identify corrective actions.\nDevelop and execute validation and verification test plans and document test results.\nPerform electrical characterization, debugging, and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment.\nCollaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams to develop and implement robust solutions.\nSupport PCB design reviews, layout optimization, and manufacturing readiness activities.\nEnsure compliance with applicable EMC, EMI, ESD, safety, and regulatory requirements.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation including schematics, test reports, design specifications, and engineering change documentation.\nSupport product lifecycle management activities from design modifications through production implementation.\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB design.\nExperience with electronic circuit simulation and validation tools.\nHarness and cable assembly design experience.\nKnowledge of component selection and qualification processes.\nAbility to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing documentation.\nFamiliarity with converters, and switched-mode power supplies (SMPS).\nUnderstanding of electrical noise, signal integrity, and coupling mechanisms including conducted, radiated, and near-field effects.\nKnowledge of grounding, shielding, EMI, EMC, and ESD design practices.\nExperience with PCB layout design, review, and manufacturing processes.\nExperience supporting products through their complete lifecycle, including sustainment and obsolescence management.\nFamiliarity with reliability testing, failure analysis, and corrective action processes.\nExperience working in automotive, power tools, consumer
