We are enabling the Bosch organization to comply with it by providing regional ISP awareness and training and ensuring compliance by performing local governance audits in the area of information security and privacy\nJob Description\nThis internship takes place onsite approximately 25 hours a week, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the headquarters of Bosch North America, in the Information Security and Data Protection Region North America organization.\nYou will support a highly dynamic team in the functional areas of data protection compliance tracking, data reporting, and additional tasks as needed.\nThe successful candidate will be given tasks, based on their skills and career focus.\nThese include supporting:\n1. Data Analytics & Reporting\nDevelop and maintain reporting dashboards and presentations using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.\nConsolidate and visualize regional data, synthesizing inputs from various business sectors into executive-ready management slide decks and evaluate with regarded to local legal requirements.\n2. Compliance, Privacy & Training Operations\nManage the intake of Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) to support regional privacy law requirements.\nCoordinate workshops and training sessions, alignment meetings, and managing materials.\n3. Project Coordination & Tool Support\nConduct pre-work activities, including information gathering, task clustering, and progress tracking across project workstreams.\nSupport the rollout and development of internal collaboration platforms or DPMS and ISMS tools (e.g. Viva Engage).\n4. General Administrative Support\nProvide comprehensive administrative and operational support as needed.\n Minimum Qualifications\nMust be currently enrolled in an accredited university and at minimum pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in B.A., Management, Economics, Data Privacy or Legal or related field with at least one semester completed\nProficient in Microsoft 365 (Focus on Power Bi, Excel) \nA minimum 3.0 GPA\nMust be a minimum of 18 years of age\nMust work at least 25 hours per week\nValid U.S. driver's license\nMust be onsite in Farmington Hills, MI\nPreferred Qualifications\nLaw Studies and interest in privacy topics\nAbility to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and distill high-level instructions into clear, prioritized action plans.\nPrevious corporate experience or coursework or in data analytics, information security, business administration or risk management.\nFamiliarity with information security, data protection, or privacy principles (ISMS, DPMS, ISO Standards, NIST or similar frameworks).\nPractical experience applying AI/generative AI tools to enhance workflows and reporting\nProfessional proficiency in German (verbal and written) is a plus.\n Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
