You will contribute to securing precise, repeatable, and compliant test results aligned with technical, regulatory, and quality requirements.\nBy working in a growing and cross-functional product development team in Aveiro, you will help guarantee high-quality calibration and validation processes that support reliable product development and innovation.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nPlanning and executing calibrations of measuring instruments and testing systems.\nDefining and maintaining calibration plans and periodic verification schedules.\nEnsuring metrological traceability to national and international standards.\nAnalyzing calibration certificates and evaluating measurement uncertainties.\nInvestigating deviations, instrument drift, and measurement failures.\nDeveloping calibration procedures, instructions, and best practices.\nSupporting internal and external audits related to metrology and compliance (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025).\nManaging suppliers and external calibration laboratories.\nValidating new sensors, equipment, and data acquisition (DAQ) systems.\nSupporting development, laboratory, and quality teams in interpreting test results.\nIdentifying opportunities and actively contributing to the implementation of process enhancements.\n What distinguishes you:\nEducation\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management (with appropriate specialization), or a comparable field.\nExperience & Know-how\nHands-on experience with calibration of temperature, pressure, gas/water flow, humidity, and electrical parameters (voltage, current, resistance, power).\nExperience in applied metrology and traceability management.\nProficiency in calculating and analyzing measurement uncertainty.\nFamiliarity with data acquisition systems (DAQ), industrial instrumentation, and electronics.\nExposure to applied statistics and data analysis.\nKnowledge of automation and control systems.\nExperience with calibration software, LabVIEW, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools.\nSpecific training in Metrology or ISO/IEC 17025 is a strong advantage.\nLanguages\nFluent in English (written and spoken).\nWorking Style and Methods\nRigorous and detail oriented.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nWell-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.\nWillingness to travel.\nPersonality\nProactive and solution-oriented mindset.\nStrong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional and international teams.\n Work #LikeABosch includes:\nFlexible work conditions\nHybrid work system\nExchange with colleagues around the world\nHealth insurance and medical office on site (general surgeon, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic)\nTraining opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications\nOpportunities for career progression and continuous professional development\nAccess to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products\nSports and health related activities\nFlexible benefits platform\nFree parking lot\nCanteen\nSuccess stories don´t just happen.
