Therefore, we are seeking to hire students who wish to begin their Bosch career with a co-op at the Florence, KY facility. Students will receive valuable training, develop interpersonal skills, and gain increased work responsibilities throughout the program.\nAt the Florence, KY facility, Bosch designs and produces precision automotive steering components and systems sold to vehicle manufacturers worldwide. These include electronic steering racks and various components supporting the assemblies.\nBelow are some typical responsibilities for the LOG department Interns.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following\nPerform root cause analysis of constrains and propose suitable measures\nPerform inventory reports and analyze trends (bank tracking, FG levels)\nAssist measure tracking (cross-functional) & monthly measure reporting to VM management \nAssist with Material Flow Project by tracking AGV/AMR activity, make recommendations for material automation to implement, and join weekly meetings \nDevelop cost justifications for new/updated Automation requirements through Total Cost of Ownership analysis and calculations.\nCommunicate directly with cross-functional departments on any ongoing AMR/Materials projects\nWork on process standardizations within the LOM department\nTroubleshoot and perform problem analysis related to production, products and materials.\nSupport with creation of reporting tools (Power BI etc.) to track major department KPIs \nWork with other departments (Production, Planning, Quality, etc) in support of projects and departmental packaging goals and objectives.\nSupport in packaging returnable management objectives, as needed.\nAssist in value stream mapping and work instructions.\nAny other Special projects as assigned.\n Education and/or Experience:\nMust be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree and in good academic standing.
