In this role, you will operate the VSL4 Jumbo Slitter on the 1st shift, ensuring precision cutting and converting of materials while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical specifications, and a commitment to operational excellence.\nOperate and monitor the VSL4 Jumbo Slitter equipment throughout the shift, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy\nSet up and adjust machine parameters according to job specifications and technical requirements\nConduct regular quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications\nMonitor material flow and equipment operation to identify and address any issues promptly\nMaintain organized and clean work areas, adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures\nPerform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime\nRecord production data, machine performance metrics, and any operational issues in designated logs\nCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines\nFollow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times\nReport equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisory staff immediately\n Proven experience operating industrial slitting or converting equipment\nDemonstrated knowledge of VSL4 Jumbo Slitter operation or similar converting machinery\nStrong ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and work instructions\nExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision\nProficiency in basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance awareness\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nPhysical capability to perform manufacturing duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials\nFamiliarity with safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment\nAbility to work reliably on 1st shift schedule\nPreferred: Experience with paper, film, or material converting processes\nPreferred: Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures\nPreferred: Forklift certification or material handling experience\n Operate lift equipment\nUnloading and reloading pallets\nPrinting labels\nReading and following standard operating procedures\nMaintaining knowledge of high risk items and how to handle them\nMaintaining knowledge of all safety requirements and
