In this role, you will support the design and sustainability of mechanical components and systems while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to projects from concept through prototyping, developing your technical skills and understanding of mechanical design principles.\nAssist in creating and modifying CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software\nSupport the analysis and optimization of mechanical components and assemblies\nConduct research on design alternatives and manufacturing processes to support engineering decisions\nParticipate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs\nBill Of Material development and maintaining.\nPrepare technical documentation, including design specifications and assembly instructions\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design challenges and identify solutions\nSupport prototyping efforts and contribute to testing and evaluation activities\nMaintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standards\nCommunicate findings and progress updates to senior engineering staff\nSupport design and improvement of fixtures and lay out design in production area based on Design For Manufacturing and Assembly outputs. \n**Required Skills:**\nProficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX, or equivalent platforms\nStrong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles\nPerform engineering calculations, tolerance calculations and reporting\nAbility to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications\nExcellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills\nEffective written and verbal communication abilities\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\n**Preferred Skills:**\nExperience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or simulation software\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties\nExperience with 3D modeling and visualization techniques\nFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologies\nPrevious internship or project-based experience in mechanical design or engineering\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans. \n*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
