Welcome to Bosch MA Division of AS Business Unit!\nChallenging development tasks for Special tools\nCollaboration with Japanese OEM to understand and meet their needs and get to know in details their service concepts\nWork with a multi-functional team, with product specialists and sales team\nInternational environment, collaboration with US and Europe\nThis position will be responsible for leading the product development activities of mechanical and/or electronic-mechanical service tools and equipment for automotive, commercial and ag/off-road vehicles.\nThis position is fully accountable for designing and developing new products, redesigning existing products, overseeing the prototype delivery and testing of products that meet the schedule, costs, and performance specification of internal and external customers. Full responsibility for all engineering documentation, specifications, engineering quality, and required data for the assigned project or customer account.\nDevelop a collaborative partnership with the customer to ensure that customer needs are anticipated and met; Will work closely and in partnership with the sales team.\nConceptualize and design new products/tools to meet customer specifications in a timely manner utilizing the best of Engineering practices (GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, CAD, physical testing, finite element analysis, etc.).\nConduct validation and verification activities including analysis (calculations and/or FEA), physical testing, design reviews, and FMEA’s on new tools to assure form, fit, function and safety.\nSupport production through continuous product engineering, problem solving, and warranty reduction.\nUtilize standard measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gage, thread pitch gages, etc. to perform initial sample inspection reports.\nDocument designs and technical project data using accepted engineering documentation practices (drawings, BOM, test reports, design reviews, FMEA, etc)\nLead product development projects, utilizing project management skills and best engineering practices to meet project objectives (cost, schedule, and technical objectives).\nProvide technical and quality support to suppliers and build strong relationships\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering disciplines\nMinimum 3-5 years of related work experience.
