As a Lead Development Engineer, you will contribute to the delivery of innovative Bosch products with class-leading performance, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.\nTechnical responsibility for hydraulic systems and components in heat pump appliances \nCoordinate with main technical interfaces from other teams in Sweden, Germany and Portugal, analyze and discuss customer, product, and safety requirements and translate them into component requirements and robust technical solutions; \nEngage with key stakeholders, including purchasing, other module teams, manufacturing, quality, and product management, to ensure seamless project execution; \nAlign activities with team members and provide technical advice and guidance by proposing solutions and raising potential risks; \nDrive critical topics with suppliers and other stakeholders; \nDocument and present in a clear way together with team the necessary data for decision making; \nImplementation of new technical concepts and solutions for heat pumps and their development into mature technologies; \nSpecification, calculation and design of hydraulic components in heat pump applications, systems and accessories, including: Create, review and understand technical specification for the components together with costumer appliances and suppliers; \nSelection of components according technical requirements \n\nResponsible for developing, maintaining and releasing product engineering deliverables and specifications such as: Material order specification \nDevelopment reports \n\nCoordinate product market-introduction activities, including: Product testing \nProduct certification \nTechnical documentation \nSupport for production ramp-up activities \n\nPromote quality awareness and contribute to the continuous optimization of the existing product portfolio \nApply product-engineering and quality tools, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), 8D, and DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode) \n What distinguishes you:\nEducation:\nUniversity degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar \nExperience:\n7 years of professional experience in product development or R&D. \nInitial experience in leading, mentoring, or coaching technical team members is appreciated. \nKnow-how:\nSolid technical expertise in the development and engineering lifecycle of hydronic components (such as pumps, eHeaters, valves, and filters). \nStrong understanding of thermodynamic systems, preferably heat pump technology. \nLanguages:\nProfessional proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required to collaborate effectively in our international network. \nKnowledge of German, Swedish, or Portuguese is valued. \nWorking Style and Methods:\nStructured, target-oriented, and analytical approach to complex technical challenges. \nStrong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities across different locations. \nFamiliarity with modern agile frameworks and collaborative product development processes. \nPersonality:\nAn empathetic communicator and team player with a coaching mindset, high level of adaptability, ability to connect with diverse personal profiles and a detail-oriented problem-solving attitude.\n\n Work #LikeABosch includes:\nFlexible work conditions\nHybrid work system\nExchange with colleagues around the world\nHealth insurance and medical office on site (general surgeon, psychology, physiotherapy, general clinic)\nTraining opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications\nOpportunities for career progression and continuous professional development\nAccess to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products\nSports and health related activities\nFlexible benefits platform\nFree parking lot\nCanteen\nSuccess stories don´t just happen.
