Whether in the areas of mobility solutions, consumer goods, industrial technology or energy and building technology - with us, you will have the chance to improve the lives of people across the world.\nWelcome to Bosch.\nThe Bosch Group operates in four business sectors: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology employing over 420,000 associates in 128 countries worldwide - 85,000 associates in research and development, of which nearly 44,000 are software engineers, and more than 6,000 associates in the UK and Ireland.\n As a Powertrain Software intern, your day to day tasks will vary but could include the following:\nSupporting vehicle test team with task tracking and reporting.\nSupporting development of test automation tools.\nSupporting development of test scripts and test execution on HiL test set up.\nSupport test engineers at Bosch and customer site in technical tasks such as measurement data analysis, test planning, project review, debugging etc.\nTracking and managing the equipment pool within the team.\nAs well as good technical competency, you will be expected to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and demands by anticipating the needs of others and looking for proactive solutions, so you will have the following attributes:\nResults orientated - with a desire to exceed targets.\nProactive and self-motivated.\nBuilds high quality and lasting relationships with all stakeholders - makes people feel appreciated even in difficult situations.\nDeals constructively with conflict - resilient.\nUses analytical skills in order to solve complex tasks and takes sound decisions.\nGood interpersonal/communication skills.\n Studying for a relevant undergraduate degree and required to take a placement as part of your course (Engineering background preferred).\nKnowledge/interest in automotive powertrain would be desirable.\nProficiency in any of the following programming languages - Python, Matlab/Simulink and C is desirable.\nAbility to organise own work and work autonomously.\nGood analytical skills and attention to detail.\nGood interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.\nGood written and spoken English.\nProficient in MS office.\nFull UK driving license is required.\n This is a 12-month internship beginning in June 2027. This position isopen to undergraduate students who are eligible to partake in a work placement as part of their university course.\nLocation: you will be based at the Coventry office.\nAs an Intern at Bosch, you will participate in an exclusive learning and development programme called the BUILD Programme designed to support you through your internship journey. It includes a mixture of in-person and virtual sessions on topics including Effective Communication and Leading Myself provided by expert external trainers.\nInterview Process and Right to Work Information: \nShortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.\nYou must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement.
