Our products, present in a wide variety of fields, that contribute to improve the quality of life of millions of people.\n GENERAL DESCRIPTION\nResponsible to implement, maintain and improve the manufacturing process, ensure technical availability of equipment in all shifts.\nFulfil Value Stream KPI’s: IDC, FOR, Technical Down time.\nNew product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation and installation on production environment.\nDevelop process and instructions for processes, write material to train technicians, and processes for maintenance: Preventive, predictive and corrective.\nPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nAnalysis and solution of problems related with processes and test equipment within manufacturing areas.\nResponsible for PLC and HMI software development.\nDebug of software and systems, including PLC, automation, and control.\nResponsible for the creation of preventive maintenance routines for machinery and tooling.\nResponsible for the design and/or integration of hardware, software, electrical systems, and communication systems based on reliable and robust sources for the manufacturing areas.\nResponsible for the definition, procurement, and registration of spare parts of processes under responsibility.\nProvide technical support to manufacturing areas in downtime events related to the processes under responsibility.\nResponsible for the assurance of processes free from safety risks.\nDefinition, procurement, installation, validation, and start-up of new machinery.\nTechnical support during the launch phase of new products.\nDefinition and implementation of measures to improve the processes under responsibility (e.g. metrics such as cycle time, up time, quality).\nBe an active member of international multi-disciplinary teams.\n EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Digital Systems and Communications Engineering, or related field.\nMaster's degree preferred.\nBilingual (Advanced English & Spanish)\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE\nAt least 3 years of experience in process engineering environment.\nHighly competent in vision systems and optics.\nExperience in analog and digital electronics.\nInterpretation of electrical diagrams.\nInterpretation of pneumatic and mechanical diagrams.\nAnalysis and interpretation of electrical failures / SW / HW.\nExperience in creation and interpretation of capability and MSA studies.\nExperience in programming languages (structured language is preferred), PLC programming.\nExperience working with databases.\nExperience in problem solving techniques.\nExperience in semi-automated or fully automated manufacturing lines.\nExperience in collaborative robots and industrial robots.\nExperience in electrical tests.\nExperience in plastic injection molding.\nExperience in datamatrix and barcode reading systems.\nKnowledge in lean manufacturing.\n Bosch is constantly expanding its international presence, since for us cultural diversity represents one of our greatest strengths.
