Therefore, we are seeking to hire students who wish to work three or more terms at the Florence manufacturing facility. At the Florence, KY facility, Bosch designs and produces automotive steering components and systems sold to vehicle OEMs throughout North America.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following.\nObtain an understanding of Bosch Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Tools\nObtain an understanding and ability to manipulate basic internal databases\nUnderstand the purpose and ability to change Process Quality Documents\nAssist in problem solving, containment and corrective actions.\nAssist engineers with improvement and cost saving projects.\nObtain knowledge in Bosch measurement systems and their use in production\nAccurately measure dimensions using dedicated and sensitive gauging equipment.\nUnderstand and assist in performing Gage R&R’s and capability studies.\nUnderstand the Principles of Bosch Production Systems.\nCompetent use of systematic problem solving tools (SPC, Pareto, fishbone, etc.)\nBecome knowledgeable of the content and purpose of a control plan and FMEA.\nUse measurement tools for production and process troubleshooting.\nUtilize test and measurement methods (R&R, SPC, CPK, etc.)\nParticipate on SPI teams and demonstrate competent use of the system\nUnderstand and participate in establishing failure modes for RPN’s\n Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a 4 year university and be actively enrolled for the duration of your co-op.Ability to rotate back at least every other term for at least 3 rotations preferred but not required\n\nProblem SolvingStrong analytical and intellectual skills\nCompetent use of systematic problem solving tools\n\nCommunication SkillsEffectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures\nAbility to work with workshop personnel\n\nSelf-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player\nMeet deadlines on assigned tasks, utilize project timeline tools, effectively communicate goals and results, ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously\nMinimum GPA 3.0 \n Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans\n*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
