You will address complex signal processing challenges after Start of Production (SOP), adapt platform-based solutions to customer-specific needs, and actively shape the future of radar signal processing in automated driving.\nYou will work in a highly collaborative, international environment where your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and mentoring skills make a real impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.\nYour main responsibilities include:\nAnalyze and resolve complex radar signal processing (RSP) issues in series production to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.\nDevelop and customize radar signal processing features based on existing platform solutions for different customer projects.\nDefine and implement customer-specific RSP variants in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\nAct as a technical interface between manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support efficient problem resolution.\nMentor and support colleagues on advanced RSP topics, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.\nMonitor technology trends and customer feedback to support future RSP development and cost optimization.\nDrive process improvements within RSP engineering to increase efficiency and quality.\n What distinguishes you?\nEducation\nMaster’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a comparable technical field\nExperience\nAt least 4 years of professional experience in signal processing or automotive radar development.\nPrior hands-on experience in Radar Signal Processing is a strong advantage, but not a strict requirement.\nKnow-how\nAdvanced programming skills in MATLAB and Python\nIntermediate experience with C++\nPractical knowledge of VS Code, Git, and Jira\nExperience with Lauterbach TRACE32 debugging is a plus\nFamiliarity with Automated Driving / ADAS systems is an advantage\nLanguages\n English (mandatory)\n Portuguese (preferred)\nWorking Style and Methods\nStructured and analytical approach to problem-solving\nExperience with standardized documentation and systematic debugging\nEnjoy working in cross-functional, international teams\nOpenness to regular feedback and continuous improvement\nInterest in process optimization and knowledge sharing\nPersonality\nAnalytical and detail-oriented, with a strong data-driven mindset\nCollaborative communicator who enjoys working with diverse teams\nAdaptable and proactive, even in a dynamic or high-pressure environment\nSelf-organized, methodical, and reliable\nMotivated to coach and support others\n This is more than a job.
