BGSV nowadays have over 4,000 associates, with a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.\nWith our unique ability to offer end-to-end solutions that connect sensors, software, and services, we enable businesses to move from the traditional to digital or improve businesses by introducing a digital element in their products and processes.\n We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Databricks and modern data platforms to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions for analytics and BI.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong Data Engineering, SQL, data modeling, cloud, and system optimization skills, with the ability to take technical ownership and work closely with business and technical stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop scalable data pipelines and data platforms using Databricks, SQL, Python, and PySpark.\nBuild and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and semi-structured data.\nOptimize performance (including: monitor data injections, monitor queries,...)\nWork with Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric to build modern cloud data solutions.\nEnsure data quality, reliability, governance, and security across data solutions.\nSupport integration between on-premise and cloud data sources.\nProvide reliable datasets and data models for Power BI / BI / analytics.\nTroubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and continuously improve existing solutions.\nTake ownership of technical solutions and provide guidance to other team members.\nWork with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical and scalable data solutions.\n Must Have\n4-5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, or related data roles.\nStrong hands-on experience with Databricks in an enterprise/production environment.\nStrong SQL and database experience.\nStrong experience with PySpark / Spark SQL and Python.\nSolid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data warehousing, and lakehouse architecture.\nExperience with Delta Lake and large-scale data processing.\nExperience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or similar cloud data platforms.\nGood understanding of data quality, performance optimization, and production support.\nGood communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.\nFluent English.\nNice to Have\nPower BI / SSAS experience.\nMicrosoft SQL Server / Oracle.\nSSIS or other traditional ETL tools.\nAzure Data Factory or similar orchestration tools.\nCI/CD, Git, and DevOps experience.\nMachine Learning / AI experience.\nAgile/Scrum or project management experience.\n Why BOSCH?\nBecause we do not just follow trends, we create them.
