Welcome to Bosch.\n The Mobility Electronics (ME) division of Bosch covers a wide portfolio of micro-mechanical sensors (MEMS) which are essential to modern life - from applications in automotive safety and navigation to consumer devices like smartphones and hearables up to control systems in spacecrafts. Bosch sensors are everywhere. Our team develops a tool for Computer-Aided Design (CAD) used to develop the sensors’ underlying micro-structures. We cover the full product lifecycle from development over deployment up to user support and continuously expand the software’s capabilities using a state-of-the art development environment. Our work is embedded in a highly dynamic, international setting involving close collaboration with in-house R&D and interfacing to world-renowned customers from the automotive and consumer industry.\nYour tasks\n► You develop a CAD tool with Java kernel and MATLAB interface based on requirements from design engineers\n► You implement and develop algorithms, e.g. for geometrical operations, to enable innovative sensor designs\n► You optimize the tool for efficiency and usability by consequently incorporating user experience\n► You ensure reliability of the tool using rigorous testing\n► You automatize design workflows to minimize the development time of new sensors\n► You support users in the application of the tool\n► You apply state-of-the art AI to unlock the full potential of our design workflows\nYour chance\n► You will tackle most challenging problems in a highly relevant and innovative growth sector (semiconductors/MEMS) with a tangible impact on global scale\n► As part of an eager team, you will shape how cutting-edge MEMS sensors are designed at Bosch and make sure that we keep an edge over competition in that matter.\n ► Education\nSoftware engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics or similar disciplines with a track-record in software development\n► Experience\nExperience in Java is required (preferably desktop application development)\nExperience and curiosity in using modern AI capabilities is required\nExperience in CAD or numerical algorithms is a strong plus\nProgramming experience in MATLAB is a strong plus\nKnowledge in mechanical simulations using finite-element analysis is an advantage\nKnowledge in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) is an advantage\n► Personality\nProblem-solving: You like to deal with complex problems but keep your focus on finding and implementing solutions.\nGrowth mindset: You embrace challenges and like to experiment.
