BESS Domain.\n\nGenerate production-quality embedded code from Simulink models using appropriate code-generation workflows.\n\nPerform model reviews, model quality checks, and ensure compliance with defined development standards.\n\nAnalyze generated code and support debugging of model-to-code issues.\n\nBMS Software Verification & Validation\nDevelop and execute MIL, SIL, and PIL test strategies for BMS control software.\n\nPerform open-loop and closed-loop testing of BMS functions and features.\n\nDevelop test cases, test scenarios, test harnesses, and automated test scripts.\n\nUse Simulink Test Manager for test execution and automation.\n\nPerform functional, regression, boundary-value, robustness, and requirement-based testing.\n\nAnalyze test results, identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and track issues through closure.\n\nEnsure adequate test coverage and traceability between requirements, models, code, and test cases.\n\nRequirements Management\nAnalyze and interpret system/software requirements for BMS functions.\n\nManage requirements and maintain requirements-to-test traceability using tools such as IBM DOORS.\n\nDevelop test cases based on requirements and ensure complete verification coverage.\n\nSupport requirements reviews and identify ambiguity, gaps, and inconsistencies.\n\nStatic Code & Model Analysis\nPerform static code analysis of generated/embedded software using Polyspace and/or Parasoft.\n\nAnalyze static-analysis findings and work with development teams to resolve issues.\n\nPerform model quality and compliance checks using Simulink Check.\n\nSupport coding-standard compliance and software quality activities.\n\nAutomation & Scripting\nDevelop automation scripts and test utilities using MATLAB/M-Scripting.\n\nUse Python for test automation, data processing, reporting, and engineering utilities.\n\nImprove testing efficiency through automated test execution and result analysis.\n\n Experience: 5-10 years\nMandatory Technical Skills\nMathWorks / Model-Based Development\nExtensive hands-on experience with:\nMATLAB\n\nSimulink\n\nStateflow\n\nSimulink Test Manager\n\nSimulink Check\n\nStrong understanding of model-based development and automatic code generation.\n\nExperience with Embedded Coder is highly desirable.\n\nBMS\nStrong understanding of:\nBattery Management System architecture\n\nCell voltage and temperature monitoring\n\nSOC / SOH estimation\n\nBattery balancing\n\nCharge/discharge control\n\nOver-voltage / under-voltage protection\n\nOver-current protection\n\nThermal management\n\nBMS control algorithms\n\nBattery pack and cell-level behavior\n\nVerification & Validation\nMIL -
