We structure the engineering internship to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill-sets unique to our industry. Project tasks reflect an increasing level of technical complexity based on demonstrated proficiency and success on prior assignments. Although there is no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our interns fully capable of stepping into an entry-level engineering position upon graduation.\nSupporting Job Elements:\nCreate Value Stream Maps and then create projects to lean out process\nClean, merge and analyze data from multiple data sources\nCreate databases to house past and future data\nUse tools and techniques from Six Sigma, Lean, to analyze and solve problems\nAssist in continuous improvement projects\nDay to day support activities but not limited to inspection, sorting, problem investigations, and PPAP approvals\nAssist in non-conforming material reports and analysis\nCreate and modify existing systems that track our metrics\nCreate, improve on documentation such as control plans, FMEAs, WI, and process flows\n Qualifications:\nAdvanced Excel skills; Power Bi, Minitab\nCommitted to an engineering college undergraduate program\nCompleted a minimum of 24 hours at the university level\nCoursework and/or experience in setting up databases, SPC, data collection\nCoursework and/or experience in statistical analysis, lean tools\nCoursework and/or experience in measurement systems\nBasic experience in 3D modeling; Understanding of GD&T\nWorking knowledge of problem solving techniques and FMEAs\nGreat written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills\nMajors Desired:\nIndustrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering\nInternship Dates:\nJune 2, 2027-August 6, 2027\n The US base hourly range for this position will be in between $20- $27 depending on the credits accumulated for the undergraduate students.
