This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.\n The SAP Project Manager is responsible for managing and implementing SAP projects with quality while managing the defined scope diligently and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting the customer’s requirement.\nResponsibilities\nProject Delivery \nEstablish and prepare project plans, risk management plans, project milestones and deliverables in consultation with business users and architect/designerManage the implementation of the project on a daily basis with regard to schedules, budget, manpower and quality\n\nManage the scope definition and change control mechanism\nAnalyse and document requirements by liaising with a range of people including users and managers, drawing together information needs across a distributed organization\nEscalate and discuss project overrun issues, scope creep, integration issues, resource requirements with Project Director (PD)/Service Delivery Director (SDD)\nManage integration of various components of the project including hardware, software installation, testing, business process review, redesign, application development, migration and data conversion etc.\nManage project activities to ensure timely delivery, including identification of critical path, monitoring and driving completion of interdependent activities and adjustment to project schedules to achieve overall completion deadline\nManage resources including hardware, software, human resource facilities and logistics required for project so as to ensure completion within budget.\nReview project documentation to ensure that it meets customers requirement and conforms to quality management process, standards and procedures to minimize rework and system failures\nDefine project resources, performance reviews and post implementation evaluations\n Business Development\nProactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered to the customer and liaise with the Account Manager(s) for development of that opportunity\nBe involved in pre-sale activities as the need arises during the project\nCustomer/Vendor Management\nEffectively engaged stakeholders in project decisions and execution\nBuild long-term customer relationships by anticipating and exceeding customer’s expectation\nNegotiate with customers on change control mechanism to meet schedules and prioritize changes based on business needs\nManage contracts and subcontractors\nNegotiate with vendors and across teams to ensure adequate resources are available during various phases of the project\nBuild relationships with users, technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with systems implementation\nManage contracts and subcontractors\nNegotiate with customers on change request effort, schedules and prioritize changes based on business needs\nClear and open communication with customers on project issues or clarifications\nTeam Management \nLiaise with team members to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to schedule\nPlan, track and monitor the tasks assigned to the team leader/ members\nDelegate tasks effectively by providing clear and specific instructions and goals\nProvide leadership to the project team to ensure that proposals/enhancements are fully analysed and evaluated for their benefits and costs\nProvide the project team with accurate information about business needs and priorities as well as details about existing business systems\nParticipate in leadership activities and providing performance feedback and developmental coaching\nMonitor and improve team performance, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management\n Typically 7 years SAP project management experience, minimum 10 years experience in IT services\nMinimum Bachelor Degree\nExperience in SAP Public Cloud projects, SAP Activate methodology\nPast experience in end to end SAP project implementation and in SAP application support roles\nSelf-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.\nAble to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship\nProficient in written and spoken English\nAble to travel as required\n Why BOSCH?\nBecause we don't just follow trends, we create them.\nBecause together we turn ideas into reality, working every day to make the world of tomorrow a better place.
