This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.\n Take the role of a Component & System Test Engineer and the required competences for operating Test Automation projects.\nTasks\nAnalyze specified requirements\nDesign and implementation of test cases\nExecution of tests, retests and regression tests\nEvaluation of results\nDocumentation and archiving of work products\nCreation of bug tickets\nRights\nApproval of component & system requirements specifications\nReview test designs & implementations\nVeto regarding local deviations from company standards regarding architecture\nIdentification and application of suitable tools for the development of SW test architecture\nPrototypical implementation of innovation ideas, especially in terms of testing\nResponsibilities\nFinding errors in the device under test (as many errors as possible with as little effort as necessary)\nEnsuring the re-usability, applicability, availability, reproducibility and quality of the work results\nEnsuring the information distribution of detected errors, their correction and lessons learned in the global environment\n Graduated in Computer science/ Electrical engineering/ Embedded electronics development/\n More than 2 years of experience in embedded software testing, ideally in automotive or industrial domains\nGood knowledge of test methodologies, test levels, and defect management processes\nExperience with embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and test environments\nExperience with Python/C++\nFamiliarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelines\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes\nProfessional proficiency in English - spoken and written.\nThis position will be contracted through Bosch’s external vendor under a 1-year contract.
